Queens - possible WTA event tbc

I heard on Radio Five Live, earlier, the LTA are in discussions with the WTA to bring back the women's tournament. It was last held in 1973. It'll be held the week after the French Open next year, if agreed.

not great news if you enjoy watching the event at Nottingham (or like me work at the event), but money talks and everything is drawn to London as usual. Plus, players don't like going outside of London, even though for the lowrer ranked players, the absence of the star names means they have chance to make some points and money
