I had hoped Dan might have a chance with this one but he lost 1-6 4-6.

Murray/Venus also lost in R1 doubles 4-6 4-6.

There has been a rain delay so matches started late. The first matches are currently being played but started after midday.

Hurkacz had to battle to win 6-4 3-6 7-6.

Thought Jack played very well. Shame the 3rd set tiebreaker was just a step too far.

Jack certainly gave Hurkacz a run for his money, pity he just fell short though. Did not go too well for some of the others mind you though Norrie had bit of a tough draw too.

Both Sinner and Djokovic went out in the semis, Jannik unfortunately though appeared to have knee injury in the 3rd as he went down to Tsitsipas 6-4,3-6,6-4. Casper had his first win over Novak 6-4,1-6,6-4 with Djokovic double faulting on the 3rd match point.

Tsitsipas rules Monte Carlo (for now!).
Fine win against Ruud, a tough opponent but who might have been spent after beating Djokovic.
