That was devastating.
Poor Andy - he just gets one thing after another!
So upset about this

Upsetting and frustrating, clearly risked damage had Andy carried on. Hopefully will able to recover for Wimbledon but we will await news on his condition later.

His back seems to be more of a problem for him at the moment - hope it’s nothing that is going to impact his life going forward
So Croft was right yesterday.

He was very stiff yesterday but so much worse today - I wonder if he’d had another day to recover would that have helped?
Whe he was asked yesterday if he’d enjoyed the match he said he wouldn’t say so - I wonder if that’s because his back was already bad?
Sad for him, but he had a good win yesterday.

Yasmin Syed on X says: Andy Murray says he’s been struggling with his back “for a while” and had been sore in the build up to the tournament and yesterday but it was manageable.
Says he had a loss of power in his Right leg. Had no coordination and couldn’t move.”
That is so worrying for Andy
VERY worrying. I guess he'll have tests and hopefully it can be sorted but it could bring the end of the road nearer. My prayers are with him. x

He?s had an interview with Russell Fuller - neuro pain - really sounds bad
He wishes he hadn?t gone onto the court
I would imagine it’s his hip. He’s been placing stresses on it that it’s simply not designed to take. I suffer from back pain due to my knackered joints, even though they have been replaced. Sometimes I also get weakness.
Everything is out of alignment.
