Emma did well to come back against Pegula. I only followed livescores for
a short while but at one point Emma was 0-3 in the 2nd set tie-break and
I really thought the match would be over pdq!!! Good grit and fightback from Emma!

Yes great win for Emma, was in danger of letting it slip though as had 2 breaks at 5-2 in the 3rd, found a way in the end-well done! It is her first win over a top 10 player. Well done to Katie and Harriet too!

Billy was even 1 set and a break down in the tiebreaker of the second set at one point.

Great For Billy, well done! Unfortunately all the Brits out in the wta event, Katie lost to Paolini 6-1,7-6 and Emma did not make much of an impression against Kasatkina going down 6-2,6-2. The tricky windy conditions played a part and think Emma was also a bit jaded.

Billy Harris has lost the first set 6-4 and it is 2-2 in the second set. Currently on BBC2.

Billy took the 2nd set 6-4 so had chance to make the win
but in the 3rd set it was Purcell who took it 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

Still a good run of form by Billy though.

Certainly good runs from Billy Harris and Paul Jubb, Billy though had shot of the semi. Fernandez and Kasaktina in Wta Eastbourne final after three set victories.
