Still a battle going on for the 8th place. Musetti now in the final in Athens but needs to beat Nole in the final to get the last spot. Otherwise Felix Auger-Aliassime gets it.

A battle for world no 1 in Turin.

"Alcaraz leads Sinner by 1,050 points in the PIF ATP Live Race To Turin. Whoever finishes Turin with more points in the Live Race will be year-end No. 1.

Carlos Alcaraz must earn more than 450 points in Turin to guarantee himself year-end No. 1 regardless of what Sinner earns. To do that he can:

• Sweep his round-robin matches.

• Reach the final while winning two round-robin matches or one round-robin match.

To have any chance of finishing year-end No. 1, Sinner must win the title. There are different permutations of how he can accomplish this.

If Alcaraz wins 0 matches in Turin, Sinner:

• Must win the title while winning at least one-round robin match.

If Alcaraz wins 1 round-robin match in Turin and does not reach the final, Sinner must:

• Win at least two round-robin matches

• Go on to win the title

If Alcaraz wins 2 matches in Turin and does not reach the final, Sinner must:

• Win the title as an undefeated champion"

Meanwhile the last 2 places are still open to debate.
Currently Musetti, with his run to the Final in Athens, has overtaken FAA for 8th place.
But Djokovic, who happens to live in Athens, might opt not to play which would given
both 7th and 8th places to Musetti and FAA. If Djoko does decided to participate he's
playing his first RR match on Monday so only has one day off to get to Turin.

It was always the Paris Masters that decided the final standings, with a week 'off' the Calendar
for the top 8 to get to the Tour Final venue to do press, promotions and acclimatise.

Adding in these 2 250's is a nonsense IMHO.

Nole won in a thriller so at the moment Musetti has not made the cut for the top 8 in the finals as he needed to win. But we are left in suspenders to see if Nole will play Turin.

Hoperfully Djokovic will announce intention soon, certainly seemed long match. Whilst not surprised a pity for Musetti.

So Musetti is in afterall. Nole said something to him at the net. Maybe he told him then.

After the disappointing start for Cash/Glasspool yesterday, both Salisbury/Skupski and Patten/Heliovaara won today.

All singles decided in straights, thus far. FAA though had injury in 2nd with Sinner but Jannik likely would have been in control anyway. Fritz fairly comfortable over Musetti (tough turnaround though). At least some good results iun the doubles, hopefully Cash/Glasspool step up tonight.

Cash/Glasspool win to qualify second in their group. If Salisbury/Skupski win tomorrow then we'll be guaranteed a British pair in the final.

Patten/Heliovaara win to make the semis, and make it 5 Brits through!

Hawkeye
14-11-2025, 22:37
In the semis tomorrow, Patten/Heliovaara play Bolelli/Vavassori before Sinner v. de Minaur, and then Salisbury/Skupski play Cash/Glasspool before Alcaraz v. FAA.

Patten/Heliovaara quiet the Italian crowd and reach the final in straights! So there will be 3 Brits in the doubles final.

@themass15 sure that would have been enjoyable :), Should be interesting finals. Whilst in two minds was quite happy Neal/Joe came through but great pity the partnership will not continue next year. Hopefully a great one with Carlos and Jannik ,:) were not troubled too much in semis.

Hawkeye

Ended up being a fairly straightforward 7-5 6-3 win for Patten/Heliovaara.

JAMES4578
16-11-2025, 16:46
Maybe not the best final but Patten/Heliovaara were stronger on serve and return. Pity for Joe and Neal but well done Henri/Harri.

An entertaning Singles final if not a classic, had hoped for a 3rd set but Sinner stepped up on on most of the key points and outwitted Alcaraz on a few ocassions. Still Carlos did not take advantage of chance in the 1st and lost the advantage in the 2nd and there were a few loose points. Did have a slight injury mind you.
