Haha I suppose I'd better introduce myself!

I've been following Andy since he won the US Open and consider myself one of his biggest fans!

But I am desperately in love with Rafa Nadal! Despite the fact that I am more than twice his age!

I am Pat and heard about Andy as a junior and kept an eye on him. It has been well worthwhile. I have been a tennis fan for longer than alot of you have been alive and still love it just can't play anymore due to creaking joints!!!

Hi everyone - I've been a member since the early days of the first forum and have followed Andy since he won the US open juniors, getting up at strange hours to watch night matches, seeing him in the flesh at Wimbledon (got his autograph) and at the Paris Masters, and watching over the internet when all else fails. I don't often post but I appreciate the work of all of the contributors and moderators - I access the forum at least once a day because I am an Andy FANatic!
Thank you for setting this forum up - long may it last.

Hi everyone,

I'm Chris, also known as "HenFan" from the old official Murray forum - great to see a new forum for us "old-timers"! :D

Even though I was never as active a part of the old forum as I would have liked to be, due to pressures in my "offline" life, I always loved my visits there and especially the warm welcome I received! :)

I'm male, ginger, I love music, computers, website design, animation (which is a posh way of saying "cartoons", LOL!), and of course tennis. I'm also one of the most passionately pro-Murray fans you're likely to meet, unquestionably my all-time favourite tennis player and somebody whose career has meant (and still means) a lot to me! :)

I'm also looking forward to visiting the World Tour Finals again for the opening day - I've got everything crossed that I get to see Andy again, for the third year running!! :)

Take care... :)

Hi all, my name is Fiona, an Andy fan from near Glasgow, Scotland. I've been a Wimbledon fan for years (my mum was crazy for it!!) and in the last few years have started following more and more tennis, mainly because I've been supporting Andy, which opened my eyes to tennis beyond wimbers! I've been to Wimbledon a couple of times, the Davis cup in glasgow 3 times, the Aberdeen cup, and this year managed to get to the usopen final. Sadly Andy was not in it!! So my Andy/tennis obsession is on the rise! Just love Andy, and cannot wait until he proves all the doubters wrong. So that's me, thanks for having me!

Yup! That's what Mum's are for. I know I feel like I live in the grocery store.

Lol yeah. ;)

If mum give me money I can get it for her and much quicker and cheaper too cos mum keeps buying food we don't need and it somehow our fault if we don't eat it.

Thanks for the welcome Sally -
Totally thrown by finding the old forum closed down!! –
so HELLO all –
after a little hunting about - by way of britishtennis.net and then the temp site – great to find this new forum!! -
I was a member of the old forum and the original message board site – but not a huge poster – but a huge Andy Murray fan - however -
many thanks to all involved - mods, Matt etc for getting this new fans forum up and running –
just brilliant!!

Mr HFW can sleep through all of that .... mind you, 1 child doesn't make much noise but as he has his lunch at his mother's on weekdays, having his nap there - and can sleep through her incessant natter (and believe me it's constant :grrr:) .... he can sleep through anything

Thanksgiving Monday today so I am preparing a big meal tonite for us and some family guests. Have to hoover, iron the tablecloth and napkins and prepare the food starting with two pecan pies. So won't be on here much at all. It's really hot here too which is unusual in October so we may even be able to eat our dinner on the patio.
