It's only a train ride away across the Channel; is anyone going?

If you have information on tickets/how to get them please post and we'll add information to this first post for everyone to find it.

I got two tickets this morning for the mens' semi-finals - really excited until I realised one was at one end of a row and the other was at the other end! Can't believe they allocated them like. My partner has refused to go so I'm now going with a lady I met at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.

Wow! Lucky you, and lucky lady you met. Hope you have an awesome time. Do you have to apply in advance? Ballot? I would love to go one year.

Hi Caro, You apply on line. You have to open an account. They open it up the French first (typical), then to the general public, normally in February. Then you log on and just have to wait until you are connected. Waiting time on the opening day can be up to 2 hours. I think they may still have ground passes on sale for this year. As I live close to London I normally just go for the day. Last year we travelled back in the next coach to Andy!

I've had plenty of joy with these the last few years by accessing the site at 7am just as the online ticket service opens. Usually says up to a 30 minute wait but gives access within fifteen minutes.

Last year I enjoyed the early rounds as there was a lot going on everywhere so this year I've opted for gold category tickets on Chatrier on the first Monday and category 1 seating on Lenglen for the Tuesday. Fingers crossed the weather is as good as it was last year!

We were going to go and I was really thrilled. But couldn't cope with booking on line. In any event our holiday to New England in the Fall is now booked and can't really do Paris/tennis and the U.S in the same year. So the French Open will have to wait for another year.:)

Nothing like an optimist ........
:p

Seriously, I think he has a chance against Ferrer; seems to be able to read the Spaniards game quite well and I think Andy has the better shot selection but he'll need to keep the points short to stand a good chance AND be out of the blocks from the very first point.
