View Full Version : DUBAI 2012, ROUND 1: Andy battles past Berrer 6'3, 4'6, 6'4
Just got in from a day at the tennis here in Dubai. Was interested to catch the comments from the presses - Andy certainly did not look well at times during his match. He seemed to be feeling the heat more than usual and it wasn't unbearably hot, although warmer than the past few days. He didn't seem able to move his feet well at times. not surprising if he was feeling sick. At least he won in the end and lives to fight another day. Hope he plays tomorrow as I'm going to be there again!!!

Hi Susieq. Thanks for the update "live" as it were.
Lucky you to be able to watch this event - the stadium looks great.
Hoping Andy is OK and you're able to see him again tomorrow!
Gasquet has 'flu apparently so maybe there is a bug going around?
Was Andy sick? Would explain his annoyance at perhaps knowing he should have been playing better but perhaps feeling a bit low. When I am unwell I can be a cranky so and so. Hope Andy feels better soon!
Well done Andy on at least getting the win in the end! Very important in post AO period :)
Andy first up again tomorrow - hope he doesn't have problems serving into the sun again.

Well done Andy for getting through what was a tough match for you.
From the match I saw I thought Andy looked under the weather and was struggling with a few things.
I am glad he got through and hope that he will be okay for the next game.
