Hey guys.

Just looking for some help here. I want to apply to university for September. I fear I may be too late in applying, I'm not sure.

Anyways is the only method of applying to universities via UCAS?

Or is there some other way for older students. I'm 21.

I want to do a degree at Uni. Part time possibly? Not full time student living in halls. I'd like to work part time as well.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers :swingin:

I think application for full time courses has to be via UCAS, but if you want to do a part time course you can apply directly to the university of your choice. At least, that's the way our small uni in Chichester operates - larger ones may not be the same. Or you could always study for a degree with the Open University. What subject do you want to study?

The UCAS website should tell you all you need to know regarding dates, but I think it may have passed for this september. Thats for part-time and full-time. Open University as said above is also a good choice as its online so you can work at the same time, study at your own pace and when you can afford it.
Good luck! I went to university when I was 27 so a fairly mature student, best decision I ever made!

A number of years ago I studied with the Open university & got an MA (honours) in History & the Humanities. The courses are excellent & you get a lot of help. There are regular tutorials where you get to meet other students. You can work round your working needs. Good Luck , Dave!!!
