Andy's response to his OBE award from his FBook page......




It is with incredible pride that I have been named in the New Years Honours List to receive an OBE from Her Majesty the Queen for Services to Sport.

2012 has been an amazing year for British sport and I am proud to have been able to play my part.

I reached my first Wimbledon final, competed and won gold at the London 2012 Olympics with Team GB at Wimbledon, and then won my first grand slam title at the US Open.

Being recognised in such a way at the end of such a great season is the finishing touch on 2012.

Thank you all for your support, I hope everyone has a very happy New Year.....and here’s to 2013!

It's for the Rally Against Cancer, which raises money for the Royal Marsden cancer centre which is treating my mate Ross Hutchins for Hodgkins Lymphoma.!

If you right click on a picture you wish to copy across there is usually a "view image" option. If you click on that then the picture is displayed with a url you can use for images in the url bar. Just highlight that url and copy across (after clicking on the image icon).

Sometimes as well as a "view image" option there is an option to copy image. Sometimes you can click on that and it automatically gives you the image url all ready to copy across.

Think going to a footie match as a spectator and playing in the WTF are very different things. I'd imagine he'd want to train gently and get back into the swing of things ready for his Miami stint first. Have sold my semis and final tix on that basis. But hope for you that he might turn up.
