8 Badminton players disqualified from the Olympic competition.
From Paul Kelso, Telegraph reporter on twitter

Paul Kelso ‏@pkelso (https://twitter.com/pkelso) BREAKING: All eight badminton players have been disqualified from the Olympics
Christopher Clarey ‏@christophclarey (https://twitter.com/christophclarey) @paulkelso reporting that all 8 badminton players disqualified. Right move but the fault is also with round robin. Bad system

Seb Coe's comments last night (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-19079529)on the situation.

Well Canada certainly benefited from the controversy. Our women's team are now into the semi-final having won their 1/4 final against Australia yesterday after being brought back. Cool!
