If you change your email address the VB system thinks you are a new member.
It then follows due process and sends you an email with a link to click to confirm your registration.
If you miss doing that - maybe because the email is in your Junk Box - you will be very limited with what you can do on the forum even though you can log in with your original User Name and password.

If you tell us in advance we can be around to assist.
Otherwise you'll have to wait and get worried and frustrated at not being able to post.
