Joe Salisbury more likely to team up with Neal Skupski - based on rankings.
Nadal and Alcaraz set to team up and play doubles for Spain at the Olympics.
On clay, in Paris. Will anyone else get a look in?

I read, after the Wimbledon tribute, Andy Murray would play his last ever match here. But, the ITF have other plans and want him to finish his career in Manchester.

Just saw on BBC that Andy confirmed Paris is his last professional match for singles and doubles then he retire after Paris.
Andy not sure if he will be playing in singles according to article on BBC (posted in newspaper thread).
Murray said his back issue will likely prevent him from entering the singles in Paris - a decision which must be made before Thursday's draw - but he and Evans are capable of doing "very well" in the doubles.
"Me and Dan made the commitment to each other, that is what we will prioritise," he added.
"That gives the team and us the best opportunity to get a medal.
"My back is still not perfect. I didn't feel great in the build-up to Wimbledon and during it. I feel better here."
Evans will still play in the men's singles, along with Cameron Norrie and Jack Draper, while Team GB will also be represented in the doubles by Neal Skupski and Joe Salisbury.
Sinner is out of the Olympics because of tonsilitis.
Andy officially withdraws from the singles.

Quite a tough opener for Cameron, Nishikori could still rise to the occasion against Jack and in the Doubles.
Draw on Olympics website. http s://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/bracket/tennis/men-s-doubles
I also looked at singles and apparently that Nole vs Nadal in 2nd round if both win their 1st round. Nole is seed 1 and Nadal not seeded.
That would create some excitement, hopefully Nadal can step up if they meet.
ht tps://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/schedule/tennis/men-s-singles?day=27-july
Jack starts at 11 am on Court 6 on Saturday 27th.
followed by Cameron and then Dan on the same court.
Katie Boulter is 3rd on Court 11 on 27th.
I am assuming time on website is Paris time. Since I do not see switch between time zone like Japan did. Sometimes it tricky to tell cos some Olympics website doesn't say and some will do local time and some will auto change time your time zone and doesn't mention it or best option is switch between local time and your time zone.
It is still raining heavily in Paris - no play on outside courts for some time yet. This will play havoc with the schedule again - hope Dan will have enough rest between his singles and the doubles.
Yes I think you are you are right Speedy. The tennis starts at 11.00 am daily - that is the start time in the Radio Times guide anyway. So the Olympics Schedule are showing Paris times rather than local times.
All matches on the outside courts are cancelled for today and there'll be a revised schedule in place tomorrow.
Play continues under cover on Chatrier and Lenglen.
certainly frustrating, thought we had enough rain at the opening cermony!
I noticed when watching Carlos match and now Carlos/Nadal match, scoreboard is sooooooooo slow. I am spoiled with fast Grand Slams and ATP scoreboard. I forgot how slow Olympics scoreboard is. Score update just before they about serve play next point.
Looks like Cam has withdrawn. Griekspoor is now playing Tsitspas P!:sad:
In Singles R2:
Draper v Fritz
Evans v Tsitsipas
Tough matches for Jack and Dan, Cameron pulled out due to injury and De Minaur also pulled out of the singles at the last minute but is expected to play Doubles.
Nadal only won 1 single game off Nole. Wow what times have changed! King of Clay cannot win more than single game so far on clay. Most likely straight sets win for Nole.
I posted when Nole was 6-1, 3-0 up. Now it all changed in 2nd set, 4-3 with Nole still break up. Nadal hanging on there somehow.
Nadal avoided a complete rout but Djokovic got in done 6-4 in the 2nd.
Thanks James. It's always sad to see the end of a legend's era whether he's been your favourite or not. Surprised to see Joe and Neil go out but over the moon that Andy and Dan march on! x
British interest on the OOP for Tuesday 30th July.
Court Suzanne Lenglen
1st: Jack Draper v Taylor Fritz
2nd: Paolini v Schmiedlova
3rd: Alcaraz/Nadal (ESP) v Griekspoor/Koolhof (NED)
4th: Evans/Murray (GBR) v Gille/Vliegen (Belgium)
Cracking line-up for anyone with tickets to Lenglen!
Court 7
3rd: Boulter/Watson v Kerber/Siegemund
5th: Salisbury/Watson v Dabrowski/Auger-Aliassime
Yes indeed Clancy, pity Joe/Neal went down though after being up 6-3 in mtb.
The Draper vs Fritz match is supposed to be on the BBC's iPlayer now, but I can't find it.
Kerber through to he WF of her last event, after beating Fernandez. plays Navarro or Zheng.
Fritz d Draper 6'7(3), 6'3, 6'2.
That's all the Brits out of the Olympic Mens Singles
Vekic has beaten Gauff - bit unexpected that.
Unfortunately jack went down to Fritz . failed to take 6bps early in the 2nd,
heat though also seemed to be a factor. Good win for Kerber, Gauff lost to Vekic 7-6,6-2.
Carlos/Nadal doubles are on now. Andy will be after them.
