I wonder if the rumour about Andy Murray becoming her new coach will start up again.
It is crackers as Emma has been coming back from injury with very little playing practice. Crazy if it was based on one match.
How may coaches will have to come and go before she realises that the coaches aren't the problem?
Emma is the top seed in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and plays her R1 match tomorrow.
Emma v Kaja Juvan. A strange match. Having lost the first 5 games, Emma won the next 11 and the match 7-5 6-1. Well done Emma! Plays a qualifier in the QF.
to be fair, Juvan played very well for the first few games but Emma didn't panic and Juvan's level dropped once Emma won a few games. After the first set there was only going to be one winner.
Emma cruised through today at least.
Emma plays Oleksandra Oliynykova ranked 91st in the semis so hopefully goes well there, Cristea favoured to go through in the other match.
Emma through 7'5, 3'6, 6'3 ... and next will almost certainly be Cirstea who is 6-0, 5'2 up against Snigur.
