Quite lengthy for a straights sets win particularly in the 2nd and 3 but Sinner always seemed to have the edge on Djokovic, stepped up when he needed to and Novak could not keep him at bay. Great for Jannik- well done! :swingin:

Coco Gauff comes from a set down to beat Sabalenka and win her first Roland Garros.

Neal and Joe bagelled in the first set.
1 set all! Neal and Joe take the second set 7-6(5).
Glad Coco Gauff overcame Sabalenka 6-7,6-2,6-4. Difficult conditions and not always the best tennis but some drama and Gauff was stronger mentally. Has a more attractive game.
unfortunately Granollers/Zeballos take the decider in the Men's Doubles 7-5 to take the title, close in the end though!
Pity Hannah did not make much of an impression but had a good tournament!
Sinner takes the first set 6'4.
And the 2nd set 7'6(4) after a lead of 4-1 from which Alcaraz fought back to get to the tie-breaker.
The Itialian is one win away from the RollyG title.

Game on ... Alcaraz takes the 3rd set 6'4 and now it gets interesting.
For matches over 3hrs duration the Spaniard might have more stamina to outlast the Italian.

Alcaraz held.
Sinner served for the match at *5-4 and got broken back ... 5-5.
If Alcaraz can find some magic and get this set it'll be a long night at Roland Garros!
