Agreed. Tough loss for Edmund but I feel like he is improving, it was a big ask.
Kyle is up next in Atlanta, Washington, Rogers cup, Cinci and the uso he has just updated his schedule.
Let's hope Kyle can get his form back and address the issues he has had recently which may be more mental than physical, his form has certainly dipped
June 16 - 1st week Jan 17 5 wins against top20 players plus Isner (21) at US open, 2 defeats to players outside top 100 lowest 117
since 1st week of Jan Wins against top50 only 1 (Dan on clay!) 4 losses to outside top 100 lowest 242
last year/early 2017 he got a number of wins to make Queens QF, USopen R4 , Beijing QF Antwerp SF Brisbane QF (week1 2017) QF Delay Beach (feb)
since then his best is Round of 32, really hope he can start to recover in these tournaments
With Serbia DC and Rio taking place last summer, Kyle didn't play Atlanta or Washington in 2016, so they are chances to add some much needed points and to boost his confidence. With his ability I was expecting him to progress into a position of being seeded by now for Slams, hopefully this is just a blip and he will pick up and achieve that sometime in 2018
In Atlanta Kyle takes first set against Baghdatis 6-3
And takes it 7-5 in the second!
Well done Kyle :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
:clap::clap:
Good win for Kyle, chance to put a few wins together
