She will play Sabalenka or Bronzetti next.

Fantastic win for Sonay taking her into the last 16.

Sonay lost 6-1 6-2 to Sabalenka.

Sonay broke Sabalenka in the first game and many of the games were not as one sided as the final score would suggest.

certainly a good run from Sonjay, a tough ask against Sabalenka though even if there were long games.

Very good experience for Sonay though. She will have learnt from this.
