Thank you James. I was disappointed last night when Joe and Neil missed out in the Men's Doubles in NY; really thought they had the trophy in their hands. Didn't watch the Ladies' final and will scratch the Men's final later too.

Teresa - Sorry to hear you lost your elderly dog. I lost my male cocker suddenly at the turn of the year and have been having health problems with my girl cocker recently. I am looking for a 2nd dog (I need my canine company) but not proving easy (my advanced age is against me!). I have been accepted by a spaniel rescue for a cocker 6/8 yrs requiring little exercise (although I would get the Cinnamon Trust to walk it as I have done in the past when I've not been able to and also worked dogs along with my own for them when younger) but one meeting these parameters is yet to appear on their website! My two sons fortunately accept I need them in my solitary life and are prepared to do whatever is best for them if I go before them. Take care of yourself and hope your youngster is improving. x
yes it was a gutting for Joe/Neil, hopefully have a slam together at some point. I have watched a lot of the Us Open ,looking forward to Men's Final.
Hello, I was never a very active online forum member but did go to several Davis Cup matches and a couple of BJK ties with the group including the DC final in Ghent Still an avid tennis follower and I do pop in when I remember to do the slam prediction competitions that Cazza highlights. Sorry to hear about the dogs and Stell?s parents.
Yes I remember Goldfish, I was in Ghent too though have not been to DC for a while (I think since the original format change though that is only partly the reason) and was not any of the BJK ties (time I was at Fed Cup was in the 1990s).
Just checking in to wish people a Happy Christmas. I hope everyone is keeping well in this foul weather.
Andy is still much missed in the House of Hughes. Non of the new ones cut it for me.
Merry Christmas Teresa and to everyone else.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone. xx
Merry Christmas and a Happy 2026 to everyone :)
Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to all. Haven't watched much tennis recently, although I do try and watch the Brits when they play. We have stopped traveling in the motorhome as much and looking to settle down here in Jacksonville, Florida.
