To everyone on here a big thank you for your friendship and kindness. I am so grateful I found this forum early in Andy's career. The friendships I made on those Braehead DC trips are for life. Then venturing further afield to Europe and the USA was wonderful enabling us to get close to Andy and actually meet him and talk to him. All that is because of this forum. A special thanks is due to all of you who supported me during Alan's illness and when he died.Your love, kindness and concern meant so much and helped me a lot. Thanks also to Sally for organising the DC trips and to all the mods for their work.I can't believe this day has come but it was the right time for Andy. We were there from the beginning and now as we get off the .Murraycoaster I can only say it was the best of times shared with you all. Lots of love & best wishes to everyone..XX

So glad he is still in Paris and has time to relax and enjoy the sports. Great he has his daughter with him.
He's now with BJK at the gymnastics.

Retirement has started well…l
Sky are showing 24hrs of Andy Murray tomorrow starting at 6am!
Which channel?
Found it just put Sky Sports on for a month to get it.
Is there any truth in the rumour that Andy will be invited to Davis Cup in Manchester in September to be given a DC thank you/farewell? x
No idea. It's a very nice thought though.
I posted this in the newspaper thread but belongs here too.

Andy Murray: A Man for All People
A lovely tribute
clancy, I, personally, wouldn't be surprised if Andy Murray turns up somehow in Manchester.
Yes, Stell, but which day?? (I'm going Friday) the middle day. I guess it depends on Andy's commitments (on the golf course (ha ha) x
Who knows. They might announce it beforehand. I've already been getting emails saying I can sell my tickets, if I can't go.
Last year, Andy filmed a speech and they showed it beforehand. Maybe, they'll do it again or he might turn up.
Having not been able to get into the forum for several days, and now having read all the heartfelt posts here, I too am ruing that the thanks button no longer works. I have followed Andy's career from the beginning with great joy and regret that his injuries have taken so much from him in terms of self satisfaction and success. I am going to DC in Manchester on Friday 13th and hope against hope that he is there but at 83 and now disabled following my last fall, it will be my last live tennis event. I will follow all the Brits progress but that will be the extent of it (full nights's sleeps at GS's will become the norm!). I am sure Andy will stay involved in tennis and will always wish him and all his family the very best. As I do to you lovely people - thank you for your entertaining posts, improving my tennis knowledge over the years, showing me kindness on DC trips and so much more. I have just purchased a print of Andy's Wimbledon departure to complete my AM shelf - 'a million memories - one Andy Murray' - says it all really. xx
Does anyone know what has happened to all of Andy’s coaching team now he’s retired?
