What has made you happy or sad?

I feel so sorry for the people that put all that effort in - if they walk past and see what's been done? It's got to be heartbreaking...

Very sorry to hear that Knightowl, really is infurating!

Real shame Knightowl that there are people around us who take delight in damaging other people's hard work for their community. Hope they find those people. Hope your local community association will persevere and have another go and that it will be left alone for people in your community to enjoy.

That is disgusting Fiona. I completely understand your anger and sadness at this mindless vandalism. What kind of person (people) would do this sort of thing. And if they have a beef with society why show it in this way? Beats me.:angry::sad:

KnightOwl that is terrible. They obviously have nothing better to do with their time. Hope they get caught and I hope the community repair the damage and repaint.
In Las Vegas, whenever any property gets "tagged", that's what they call this time of offense, the authorities come out take pictures of the vandalism and then repaint to cover it. It seems to work to some extent as the offenders seem to give up or move on but they do not get a lot of "pleasure" from it because it is dealt with pretty swiftly and there message is not there for long. They told me that they take pics so they can see a pattern and can often tell if it is the same person who is doing it from the style. Sometimes like this they catch them.
