A tough encounter but such a gutsy display from Jack to take it in 4, was looking a bit dicey at one point. Tremendous fighting spirit to clinch it though. A good day for the Brits on the Men's side though Fearnley got a break, real pity for Humbert. A surprise with Bulik coming from 2 sets down to put out De Minaur, Mensik also out.
Not so good for Katie and Sonay though the expected results.
Just seen news that Brits did well yesterday. That great result!
What a cracking match that was with Jack beating Monfils and the home crowd. :cheer:
And well done to Cameron and Jacob. :cheer:
Well done lads!!!
:GBflag:
Shame about the ladies ...

4 of the top 6 are in tomorrow's half (where there are 3 Brits) and 1 in the top 6 in today's half.

With a victory over Austrian qualifier Filip Misolic on Saturday, Djokovic would record his 99th match win at Roland Garros, which would equal his best mark at a single Grand Slam tournament.
If Djokovic beats Misolic, he would play Jacob Fearnley or Cameron Norrie to try and secure his 100th win at the clay-court Slam.

The Austrian came through qualifying and despatched Shapovalov in R2 in a 5 set thriller!
I thought Fearnley would win this but he didn't seem to show up. Well done to Cam.
A tough and demanding 2nd set betweeen Cameron and Jacob , after fighting back from 0-4 Fearnley seemed to fade in the 3rd. Jacob took more risks but too many errors and physically Cameron was strong. A good win for Norrie but looking like Djokovic next, a set and break up! Misolic though has had a good run.
First time since 1963 that 2 men have got into the 4th round.

Bublik - an awkward customer. Likely to see flashes if brilliance mixed with 'why on earth did he try that' shots. Known as 'one sock' after the DC in Glasgow !!
Djokovic beats Norrie in straights.
Bublik on the verge of a 2 sets to 1 lead.
Bublik broke Jack in the 1st game of the 4th set and has stayed ahead.

Jack is beaten by Rublik in 4 tough sets.
Jack outclassed by Bublik but a positive is that he has some time to adapt to the grass.
