I read earlier today that Mike Dickson, the tennis correspondent of the Daily Mail, died two days ago aged 59.
Alan Mills, Wimbledon Referee for 20 years, has passed away aged 88.
News of Mike Dickson's passing was posted in the Andy Murray news thread.
Certainly some sad news recently, of course some younger than others.
Ah I well remember Alan Mills.
Richard Howard has died aged 79. He played vicar Bob Jerome in Emmerdale between 1979 and 1981 and George Lorrimer in Poirot (Four and Twenty Blackbirds) in 1989.
Johnnie Irwin, presenter of A Place in the Sun and Escape to the Country has died aged 50 from lung and brain cancers.

Sorry to hear about Johnnie Irwin. Enjoyed watching Escape to the Country over here in the States. Unfortunately they don't seem to be showing it here any longer. :sad:

Robin Windsor, who was a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing a few years ago, has died aged 44.
