Happy for you and Ian that everything went well Elizabeth.
All the best, Jeannie!
Thanks for all the good wishes for my eye operation. Things were rather traumatic after the first part of the operation under general anaesthetic as they had difficulty getting me out of the anaesthetic & I developed respiratory distress & had a racing heart etc. I was rushed to the high dependence unit at the Royal Infirmary. After 4 hours I was much better & my eye surgeon arrived & & spent 1 hour adjusting the eye muscles under local anaesthetic!! I was kept in till the next afternoon when every thing had settled down. I'm still very tired but improving!!
The GOOD news is that my eye condition has improved a lot a nd will take arond 3 weeks to fully adjust. Here's hoping!!
:grouphug: Glad its all working out in the end, even though there was a bit of a scare.
Sorry things were so traumatic, Jeannie, but glad that the eye condition is improving! Hope it's a complete success
