and win 7'6(4), 7'5.
Not sure where that leaves us ???
EDIT
Apparently if Argentina beat Finland tomorrow, GBR must beat Canada 3-0 on Sunday to stand a chance of going through to the Finals.
Evans/Skupski d Gonzalez/Molteni
So Argentina won the rubber 2-1.
A bit disappointing today bit at least got win in the Doubles, tough if Argentina win tomorrow though.
Today Argentina beat Finland 3-0. Can GB do the same against Canada tomorrow?
No... Dan beaten in straights. Perhaps this means we'll get a proper Davis Cup tie to attend now...
Was not that optimistic but that really was a crushing blow, poor start from Dan and Shapovalov took advantage.
Was good that Skupski and Patten won the consolation doubles which gave both Harris and Patten their debut DC wins.
yes at least Skupski/Patten were able to fight back in the first and then more or less take control, pity Jack fell short against FAA.
Well I think the party is finally over. Andy has retired, Dan hinting he won't play DC any more, Jack & Cam not really starred, perhaps with us not being guaranteed to reach the final 8 or even get a WC, we ought to wipe the slate clean and start again. Leon might also decide to step aside, after all he's been doing it an awfully long time
