I did the test, today, and the result came back negative.
12 months since my fall on holiday in Corfu so I've stayed put today and avoided steps! Some of you may remember my posts; it resulted in a 2 week stay in Greek clinic (tied to the bed) - lovely staff but virtually no English spoken - a trip home in an air ambulance, and then 2 weeks in hospital here. Not something I want to repeat! Been a funny old year for all of us but we're still here cheering Andy on! Keep safe everyone. xx
I had another blood test on Tuesday, but I won't receive the phone call until the 29th of this month after the next blood test.
Today, I received a letter from the hospital saying the oncologist had made me an appointment for next Tuesday for me to have a CT scan. But, the envelope looked like someone had ripped it open, had a look at my letter and then put the letter back into the envelope. I've sent a complaint to the Royal Mail.
The Royal Mail, eventually, apologised for my letter being ripped open.
I received a Covid-19 test, last Thursday. But, I then found out that I would have to drive to Budleigh Salterton to post it. I didn't think it was worth me driving about 12 or 13 miles just to post something. So, last Saturday, I booked a test at my local park and ride. The result, which came back on Tuesday, was negative.
Glad your result was negative, Stell. My grand-daughter Alice tested positive on her 23rd birthday; she is a teacher at a local school for handicapped children where one of the staff tested positive, now Alice, and possibly more. The school is now closed for 2 weeks. My son and his wife have tested negative.
Thinking about you all. Stay safe. :flowers:
also came on here to say keep safe all. I hope you are all doing ok in these weird times.
Haven’t been on much. During Covid both knees and my left hip have decided to resign from service. Need 3 operations in fairly rapid succession. Having to remember how to use crutches.....!!!
Hoping to have the first knee op by Christmas. Good thing DC has gone by the wayside.
Have been missing your posts. I too am glad I managed to get some DC in when I did.
Hope they get you sorted quickly and you're back jumping over 5 bar gates come next year!
Take care. x
Sorry to hear you’re having such a tough time. Hopefully you will have your first knee operation sooner than later. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
