Just finished watching the match not that long ago, real pity Jack had to retire but was no point carrying on. knew he would not have enough left in the tank anyway. Fought back well from 5-2 to 5 all (with a little help) before losing 1st 7-5 and subsequently went off court for a medical timeout, his movement soon became restricted and only won one further game.
The popcorn match of Nole vs Alcaraz has started with Alcaraz winning the first set.
I wonder which player forum members are rooting for now Andy coaches Nole.
If Andy wasn?t coaching Nole I would guess most members would want Alcaraz to win.

Djokovic wins 4-6,6-4,6-3,6-4. Not the way I wanted it to go but Djokovic found a high level and suppose whilst early days Andy's input has been valueable. Too many errors from Alcaraz in the end even if he was under pressure (failed to take the bp's at 3-4 in 4th set) Enjoyable match mind you.
will be interesting to see how Andy reacts when Novak really vents towards his team. whether he's prepared to put up with being used as a punch bag.
LADIES SINGLES SEMI-FINALS
Sabalenka is through to the Ladies Final after beating Badosa in 2 sets.
Swiatek took the 1st set 7'5 against Keys but the American broke in the opening game
of the 2nd set and has held for a 2-0 lead. Iga still has a bit to do if she wants to make the Final.
EDIT 11.40: Keys now has a 4-0 lead in the 2nd set!!!

Henry & Harri are through to the Mens Doubles Final, to be played Saturday.
They're up against Italian pairing Bolelli/Vavasuori.

Apparently Madison Keys is playing with a new type of racquet which is making a big difference.
