It's been pouring all night and all day and everywhere is flooded. Never seen anything like it. It took me 3 hours to get home tonight - it normally takes 20 minutes. And the rain has been getting in through my roof and soaked my loft and the ceiling of the spare bedroom. Though it could be worse, lots of houses have been flooded by sewage rising up through their lavatories.
So sorry about that Linda. It's bad enough enduring awful weather but having to put up with leaks and wet rooms must be awful.:grouphug:
Oh, how horrible Linda - I was complaining to Dave about my leaky car earlier today, and now I feel guilty, cos that's nothing in comparison to what you're dealing with - I hope it's not too hard to get sorted - flooding is a nasty business
Oh dear Linda, I hope you manage to get everything dried out.
It's been a very miserable week or so!!!
Ouch, Linda
Glimpses of sunshine in here in London this morning. Bodes well for a good day of tennis at Queens hopefully!
Muggy, really sticky and uncomfortable but DRY!
I had to go to the jobcentre today and I walked in and thought I had walked into a sauna! Phew!
Very warm and sunny all day in Brighton!
Sun!!!! Warm!!!:big grin:
