Re: Health and Ailments thread
I had my Covid booster vaccine, last Saturday. I'll be having my flu vaccine next Saturday, as they aren't allowing anyone to have the two vaccines done in the same arm.
I had my bone injection, earlier. While I was there, I found out that I'll be having a scan on the 2nd of next month. The nurse blamed the Royal Mail strikes, as I still haven't received the letter.
Re: Health and Ailments thread
Came out on Monday after my left knee replacement. Blinking agony. Glad to be out though.

Hope you get better soon Teresa.
Re: Health and Ailments thread
Thanks. Getting better by the day, but still grim. Had friends here for the first week. Flying solo from today.
Have the physio in tomorrow. Will get an idea of where I am at. Knee still very swollen, but can get on my mobility scooter. Dog coming home Sunday.
Re: Health and Ailments thread
I had my scan, yesterday, though the result probably won't be known until next January or February. As usual, I had to sit down for ten minutes afterwards. As the nurse took the needle out of my arm, she told me not to drive for one hour. I think she got a bit confused with another female patient who felt a bit dizzy after her scan and had to have her blood pressure taken.
Re: Health and Ailments thread
I'm glad I won't be affected by the nurses strike, next month, but I feel sorry for everyone else who could have their appointments cancelled because of it.
