I had a letter, yesterday, from the hospital saying the phone call for my blood test result for the 12th of this month had been cancelled. Instead, my oncologist will be phoning me next Monday (tomorrow). I'm hoping it's not bad news.
My oncologist phoned me, earlier, saying, she wanted next Tuesday's blood test cancelled and she would be cancelling next Friday's bone injection. Instead, the blood test is now scheduled for the following Monday with the bone injection on the Friday (21st).
I had a letter, earlier, from the hospital saying Boots at the hospital will now be stopping supplying my hormone tablets. I've now got to get a repeat prescription from my doctor for them. I'll be talking to the receptionist, next Tuesday, at my doctor's surgery about it. It does seem to be worthwhile, for me, as it seems my oncologist is now wanting me to have a blood test once every five weeks instead of once every four weeks and my hormone tablets can't last that long.
I was able to book my Covid booster vaccine for the 29th of this month, today.
I had this month's blood test, yesterday. A nurse from the hospital phoned me, earlier, and told me that my neutrals count was too low for their liking. But, she didn't know what my oncologist will want to do next. Someone will phone me tomorrow.
I went to have my bone injection, yesterday. While I was there, I showed the nurse the letter which I'd received on Easter Saturday saying Boots at the hospital wouldn't be supplying my hormone tablets anymore. She told me, everyone who have to take them or similar ones, got the same letter. I told her, I'd talked to the receptionist at my doctor's surgery about it. She'd believed it wasn't their problem but had got one of the doctors to phone me. He'd told me, to go back to the surgery and get the receptionist to photocopy it and give the copy to my doctor. I did and never heard back from him. The nurse was very angry, as she told me, they'd written to my doctor about this and couldn't believe that he wanted to play around with my health. The nurse then told me, it was a low neutrals count. Instead, it was something to do with my calcium and wanted to know if my doctor had prescribed calcium tablets. She wasn't impressed, when I told her no. I then told her, my oncologist had phoned me on the 3rd saying she wanted me to have a blood test once every five weeks. The nurse was puzzled, as there was no note about this on my record. I told her, the labels (which the nurse at the surgery wants) had turned up saying the 23rd of next month. But, she'd booked me in for the 22nd. The nurse told me, the next blood test is supposed to be on the 15th and she messaged my oncologist. But, she'd already gone home and won't read it until next week.
I went to my doctor's surgery, earlier, and the receptionist agreed to put my hormone and calcium tablets on prescription.
I saw the new dentist, yesterday. He told me, my previous dentist had done such a good job that I didn't need anything doing. So, I was signed off straightaway and I've got to find another dentist.
I had another scan, earlier today. The result won't be known until August. I told them, I'm still waiting for February's scan result and they thought I was making it up. A woman, who had her scan before me, told me that she only has to wait two to three weeks for her scan results.
