Crikey Genbrit, we must be the same age because I well remember our school taking
us to Worcester (UK) to see Romeo & Juliet because we were studying it for O Levels.
I lived in the sticks with very few cinema trips so it was quite a nice trip!
Sallydaisy, It would have been 1969 I believe as I left school that year as well, aged 16. Our school was walking distance to the cinema, along a walkway that bordered the boys school on one side and a church and graveyard on the other.

Roberta Flack has passed away, aged 88, from Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
She had a wonderful voice and was well known for her R&B hits "The First Time ever I Saw your Face" and "Killing me Softly with His Song". Initially trained as a classical pianist, she taught music until her breakthrough in her 30's.
