Eastbourne ATP & WTA, Bad Homburg WTA and Mallorca ATP

Eastbourne is a combined ATP & WTA event.
Lovely venue but driving can be a pain with busy traffic heading to the seaside.

ATP250 Mallorca is a Spanish event on Grass for the Men.
The WTA stays in Germany at Bad Homburg, just 5hrs from Berlin.

Elsewhere there are ATP Challengers in Lima (Peru) and Milan (Italy).

Wimbledon Qualifying starts at Roehampton on Monday 23rd June through to Thursday 26th.

Mpetshi-Perricard has withdrawn.
His place is taken by LL Billy Harris, GBR, who will now play Cameron Norrie in R1.

I am surprised they didn't give Billy Harris a Wild Card, but then I guess there weren't many available and higher priorities.

Billy Harris and Cameron Norrie are also playing doubles together another day. Shame they have to play each other in the first round.

Tricky for a while and the form not quite there at times but Emma pulls away in the end to get pass Ann Li 6-7,6-3, 6-1-well done! pity for Harriet Dart who had two match points at 5-4 in the decider before going down to Krejcikova 6-3,6-7,7-5. The wimbleon champion (whose season only started in May due to injury) will now face Jodie Burrage who beat Moyuka Uchijima 6-3,6-2.

A good fight from qualifier George Lofthagen but lost out to opelka 7-6,3-6,7-6.

Jack Draper is scheduled to play Holger Rune later this afternoon.

Pity for Dan,think had a bit of a letdown after Paul win though and Brooksby played well. Billy Harris also out in straights to Humbert.

Jack beat Rune 4-6,6-3,10-4 in the exhibition.

Meanwhile despite some speculation otherwise Emma set to play at Wimbledon, was a disappointment yesterday though. Joint now in semi finals.

congrats to Maya joint and Taylor Fritz who took the Eastbourne singles titles, a great week for joint who won a tense and exciting final set over Alexandra Ela 6-4,1-6,7-6(12-10) . Fritz dominated after winning a tight first set over jenson Brooksby 7-5,6-1 to retain his title.

congrats too as cash/Glasspool followed up queen's success with a 6-4,7-6 win over Behar/Vliegan. However this did not seem to be shown anywhere. Joint also in Doubles final with Hsieh but lost out to Bouzkova/Danillina 6-4,7-5.

Well done to Maya Joint. Emma lost to the winner earlier in the tournament. As the commentator put it Emma was smoked by Maya Joint. lol.
