According to the Red Button schedule, they'll be showing the winter Olympics instead of our tie.
The tennis channel is free in lots of places now.
Maybe the BBC will show on iplayer even if not on the red button.
It's a shame it is the same time as the Winter Olympics.
The TNT Channel will be showing it, I've read. If the BBC decide to show it, it'll probably be on their website. The Tennis Channel are also, allegedly, showing it.
The LTA have confirmed that it will be shown on the BBC Sport website, the iPlayer and the Tennis Channel.
Brilliant about it being shown on the BBC's website.
What time does it start?
6pm local.
That's good, as I'm supposed to be going out which I could have cancelled if it had been during sometime late morning or early afternoon.
Not a fan of late starts, especially as I have a very early flight home on Saturday morning!
Casper Ruud will not be in the Norwegian team; he's prioritizing time with wife and newborn daughter.

Good news for GB, bad news for the tie.
Good evening from Oslo! Jack off to a flyer.
An easy first set win for Jack.
Thansai Kokkinakis has pulled out of the Aussie DC team with an injury and has been replaced by Jason Kubler.

Any Norwegian translators?
Nei.
Cameron Norrie wins 6 - 4, 6 - 4. Budkov Kjaer played way above his ranking.

Although NBK is ranked 133 it's slightly false as he's definitely on the way up, this time last last year he was in the 500's and he played in the Next Gen Finals last year so he's got potential.
Cam was the smarter match player.
Certainly it was a good start, keep going :)
Budkov Kjaer and Durasovic are playing way above their doubles rankings. 5 - 5 in the third set.
6 -6. Tie break
4 - 4 in the tie break
Cash and Glasspool win the match and the tie, though Cash and Glasspool aren't sure if it was a 7 point tie break or a 10 point tie break.
The BBC have tuned into that Norwegian channel again.
Jacob Fearnley vs Nicolai Budkov Kjaer in the dead rubber.
Nice 3-set win for Jake Fearnley with a 10-7 in the 3rd set.

Australia not doing too well on the clay in Ecuador (some rain there too) as Ecuador are 2-0 after the first singles matches. The winning team I believe will play GB in the next round in September.
You're correct, exislander. I know we played them at Wimbledon 26 years ago and lost. I think we might have played them since then.
The last time we played them was in Ecuador, so if the same rule still applies we will have a home tie.
Australia have just lost the doubles match.
