Re: Between tournament discussion of Andy

I don’t think I have anything extra to add. Just feeling really sad. Watching Andy playing tennis has brought me so much pleasure. There is no doubt he has done all he could to carry on

It's all been said already. So very sad for Andy. What a privilege it has been to be a tennis fan in the Andy Murray era.

Crying for Andy as I watch his news conference. His health has to be his top priority and the thought of him being in pain is - well, a painful thought. You’ll always be my #1 Andy.

Crying for Andy as I watch his news conference. Wonderful tributes from other players. Andy will always be my #1 and I know he will still go on to do great things in the world of tennis - and sport - or whatever he chooses for his next path. A true champion in every sense of the word, a great guy. Always will be in our hearts.

Waking up to the news of AM, following the visit to the vet yesterday, which confirmed the growth on my 13.5 year old, sleek, furry rodent slaughtering cat, is cancer. Not a great couple of days:-(

I don't know what else to say other than for the amazing, unforgetable and irreplaceable memories Andy. Nothing beautiful lasts forever, so as hard as it is, I smile because your career happened, rather than cry because it's over.

and that's just tennis related. What a great guy off the court too. How privileged have we been as fans and particularly AMFF fans to have felt as included in his career as we have. I've made some lifelong friends on here. It's been wonderful to share the journey and the moments with like-minded people.
Thank you Andy for everything. Now go look after yourself and your family.

Re: Between tournament discussion of Andy

Absolutely devastated! So sad to think that I'll probably never get to see him play again, but so grateful to have seen him all the times I have. Especially the amazing memories from the Davis Cup! I cried watching that video. Just so sad... Don't really know what else to say at the moment. In shock (even though it wasn't entirely unexpected).

Now I'm in bits having watched the press conference. Andy is the same age as my son. Just want to give him a big hug.
