Its a good appointment cause If I remember correctly didn't Lendl lost a couple of GS finals at the start of his carrer.. much like Andy. Lendl is a good coach for Andy

Yes indeed, he actually lost the first 4 before winning his first in the 1984 French Open when he was 24. He was known as one of the hardest workers on the tour and became very strong mentally. I'm sure he will have a lot of valuable input.

I'm excited now. At least Lendl know what it's like to lose in Finals before achieving success. I do hope this works out for Andy...he has obviously thought long and hard before making the decision. Go Andy and Ivan!!! Great news on the last day of a great year for Andy!! The best is yet to come!!
