Quincy Jones, American record producer, songwriter and composer, has died aged 91.

Timothy West, veteran actor, has passed away aged 90.
He's survived by his wife, Prunella Scales, to whom he was married for 61 years.

The government is, I read today, thinking about celebrating next year's 80th VE (Victory in Europe) Day. It's been reported we'll be getting an extra Bank Holiday.
