Just wondered if anyone is using the new Sky Tennis channel and what they think of it.

I have got it and it is nowhere near as good as Amazon Prime. There only seems to be a choice of a few matches but it is early days and may well improve

I did subscribe for the Us open and had Sky sports when they showed the tennis previously, for now though I am using Tennis TV(though they only show ATP).

I am using Tennis TV. Sky are meant to be starting a multichannel thing around now. I subscribed for the US Open but I do not have sky q and could not get the multicourt - not even on laptop

I'm using Tennis TV over here in USA. They don't show the slams but I like that I can watch replays and set to hide the scores and length of video, so you don't know how long the match goes on. Just have to keep away from social media until I've watched what I want to!!

I would have to be very sure that Sky coverage was brilliant before I would consider spending something around ?400 per year on that - maybe in time it will be. Currently I use Tennis TV and bet365 for live matches not shown on Tennis TV - doubles and WTA.

Some of the Sky coverage was good. I have joined on NOW just for a month or two so I can have the WTA. I will the stop. They had a lot of the different courts up for streaming. But certainly for some of them they were using the Tennis TV streams and commentators.

Sky Sports have US Open rights to 2027! I am sooooooo disappointed means I not able watch US Open until after 2027 if anyone like Eurosport or Amazon Prime take it back again (assuming Sky Sports don't win rights again!). I need full reply on demand matches since obviously nearly all is middle of night and I don't cope being up well like I used to when lot younger, I get ill if I try to. I did online search and there is Sky community forum with loads of people complaining how awful Sky Sports is for tennis and no full on demand replays etc and they been emailing Sky about it etc and all get same default reply that they are not streaming service like Eurosport/Amazon Prime so cannot offer full on demand replay etc we used to. They are live broadcaster only with some highlights.

Hope they stay far away from Aussie Open and French Open and BBC keep Wimbledon.

You'll be glad to know, Speedy Hawk, all sports are in different groups. Wimbledon is in Group A, which means, Wimbledon must always be shown on a "free to air" channel. I think the BBC have the rights to show Wimbledon until 2027. If the BBC didn't show it, then ITV, Channel 4 or Channel 5 must show it instead. But, as the BBC have always shown it, none of the other channels would even dream of bidding for the right to show it.
