I so wish Andy would call it a day. It really worries me the long term damage he is doing to his body. Artificial joints are just not designed for this level of punishment.

Not a great surprise, outside the slams Lendl really was not around much even if available for advice. sure Andy will play in 2024 but beyond that I am not sure.

It’s a shame they’ve spilt but I don’t think he’s been there enough for Andy in recent times.
He doesn’t want to travel and Andy needs him there - it’s his mind that is falling apart quicker than his body right now.

I too worry about the long term damage he is doing to his body but he is obsessed with pushing himself to the limits even at this late stage of his career. I used to think Nadal would end up in a wheelchair, now I worry it could be Andy. Like James, I am sure next year he will plan on being at Australian GS, perhaps not the French, Queen's and Wimbledon of course, Olympics, Flushing Meadows maybe - I'm exhausted just thinking about it! But through it all - or depending how far he gets - I'll be rooting for him because I know it's what he wants. I just hope it doesn't end up in tears for him. x
