BBC 1 will be showing it at 3.45pm (15.45pm). Everyone seems to remember the 1973 one, Riggs vs King. I was a small child, back then, so I wouldn't have watched it. But, I've read the first one was in 1888 in Exmouth, Devon between Ernest Renshaw and Lottie Dod. Lottie started each game with a 30 - 0 advantage, but went onto lose the match.
