It'll be 70 years old, this year, and will be held on Tuesday 19th December from Salford.

Stuart Broad (cricketer), Frankie Dettori (jockey), Mary Earps (footballer), Alfie Hewett (tennis player), Katarina Johnson-Thompson (athletics) and Rory McIlroy (golfer) have made this year's short list. I think they could have done a lot better than these people.

Should be KJT l, but it will be Earps. I agree that the selection is poor.

Sir Kenny Dalglish will be given the Lifetime Achievement award.

No surprise about Mary Earps winning it. Stuart Broad came second and Katarina Johnson-Thompson came third.
