not according to BBC who have other ideas. Hodgkinson (Athletics), Norris (F1), Littler (Darts), Storey (Para Cycling), Palmer, Bellingham, Foden, Kane (Football), Ainslie (Yachting), Cavendish (Cycling) all feature on the Radio Times website as possibilities.

Jude Bellingham (football).
Keely Hodgkinson (athletics).
Luke Littler (darts).
Joe Root (cricket).
Dame Sarah Storey (para cyclist).
Alex Yee (triathlon).

Keely Hodginkson seems to be the clear favourite followed by Luke Littler, the rest given little chance. personally would probably go for Alex Yee though due to his great comeback in the Olympic event.

Luke Littler is also one of three shortlisted for Young Sports Personality this year, the other two are Sky Brown and William Ellard.
