certainly a ranking boost for Emma and positive she reached the final,that really that was a rout though (whatever the circumstances).

Not much of a rest for Emma...

She will begin her WTA 1000 Doha campaign this afternoon at around 2pm UK Time she takes on Camila Osorio in the first round.

Emma took the first set 6'2 but Osorio is about to serve for the 2nd at *5-4 with a break.

Osorio duly takes the 2nd set and breaks Emma in the opening game of the 3rd.

After having blood pressure taken and trying to continue Emma has retired at 0-2 in 3rd set, obviously feeling unwell.
