WIMBLEDON 2012, QUARTER-FINAL: Braveheart beats The Beast - 6'7(5), 7'6(6), 6'4, 7'6(4)

Andy is through to the Quarters after a straight sets victory over Marin Cilic.
He'll face David Ferrer who had an equally easy run today beating JMDP 6'3, 6'2, 6'3.

Their H2H (http://www.atpworldtour.com/Players/Head-To-Head.aspx?pId=F401&oId=MC10)is 5-5 but they've never met on grass.

David beat Andy just 3 weeks ago in the Qtrs of the French Open on clay - no surprise really given his career record of 232W/98L v Andy's 47/30!!! But Muzzah's game is better suited to grass than that of the 30yr old Spanish player and in career stats Andy leads the way 49W/13L against David's 28W/12L.

Duracel Dave is known for his tenacious brand of play and for running down every ball that comes his way. Muzzah Murray is equally adept at chasing down balls and never saying 'die' out on the tennis court.

So, it'll be another fascinating match-up between these 2 guys.

The match will be played on Wednesday 4th July - with a lottery for who ends up on Centre Court.

4 out of the 5 wins for Ferrer were on clay. That's telling. Andy has a great chance against him on grass. Good match up. Del P on other hand when he's in the zone is capable of blowing anyone off the court. So I'm happy it's Dave.

He's a bit of a so and so when it comes to sportsmanship Ferrer, never apologises when he gets a lucky net cord. Various matches I've seen him play he just doesn't. Poor show to be honest.
