cannot wait for this, hope it show people how hard he works and what he is like off the court eg a funny, charming person.
Very much looking forward to this, an hour of joy right before the start of the best two weeks of the year. Andy couldn't have had a better preparation for Wimbledon: lots of match time with a few three set matches against good grass court players, another trophy to celebrate and A LOT of banter to talk about and keep happy about in the Murray camp!
Also really looking forward to this! Shame it's on so late. Means lots of youngsters will miss out - thank goodness for sky+ and i-player eh?!
According to the Radio Times this is on at 10.55pm, not 10.25pm. Nervous about changing the thread title though..........
Andy Murray answers your questions - on the beeb (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/tennis/22951678)

It says 10.25 in my radio times (scottish edition).
TvGuide has it down as 10:25 too, the beeb have announced countless times both on TV at Queens and online that this will be screened at 10:25 so 10:55 is very likely to be a typo.
Erm - unlikely to be a typo on the programmes page - the programme before is Huw Edwards at 10.25 but that's in Wales so of course there could be regional differences. The main thing is for anyone recording this, to check carefully or record for several hours before and after!!! ;)

We probably dont have the Huw Edwards programme in London etc so its likely you get it at 10.55 and the rest of UK at 10.25pm. BBC Wales often has different schedule its written in small print at bottom of page.
More footage on the Andy documentary!

BTw it says 10.25 on my sky box tv guide and i'm in scotland
that probably means nothing though given that BBC swap things about from 1 to 2 to red button lol

For that very reason I haven't looked at any of them!
I have just been through the BBC1 listings on Sky for the different regions. As we thought, it is just BBC Wales that has a 22.55 start.
Im not watching anymore clips as there wont be much left to watch tonight haha
Ah, sorry for posting them then! Although the clips are only around 2mins each (that last one was only 55 seconds) and three of the four clips overlap with stuff they have already showed anyway - the documentary is 60 minutes so these are really only snippets.
Not long left to wait now - recorders at the ready!

Totally agree with that. I must admit I had it on in the background whilst I did my BOTB entry, and only looked up a couple of times when there was something new. The RAC was much more enlightening to me about who the man behind the racket is!

Hmmm I wonder how people abroad can watch this. YouTube probs.
WOW! What an amazing and emotional documentary. Full of laughter and tears of sadness and joy. I did not expect Andy and Jamie to talk about Dunblane (as well as Judy)... heartbreaking! Why do they insist on keeping on showing Andy's post wimbly speech. Always sets me off
CRacked up when Andy and Jamie's fights and competitions mentioned as well as the lottery ticket hehe
Kim was gorgeous! As were the doggies. Great cameos from Team Murray, Rafa, Novak, Rosco and even feliciano in background ;) An grandparents and dad too :)
Brilliant tweet from Laura Robson!
@andy_murray documentary, talking about how competitive he is. He once played doodle jump for 7 straight hours to beat my high score. #dork

I really enjoyed the documentary--it showed Andy as he really is & as we all know he is'
The bit where he talked about the Dunblane shooting was very touching. I , & probably many others , was in tears when he cried & was comforted by his dog.He must have agreed to have this shown. It showed how sensitive & gentle he is.
I hope that this documentary has endeared him to many more people.
It was good however don't think I learnt anything new really. But I think we know as much as Andy wants us to know about him if that makes sense.
I thought there was plenty of original stuff - more than I expected. Nothing hugely new and revealing for those who have followed him for the last decade or so, perhaps, but enough original footage to keep me very interested throughout, apart from switching off a bit when they talked about the PR stuff.

This programme was not aimed at his supporters , but to inform the general public who do not know him as we do.
I think it did a good job, & I'm sure will open many eyes to the genuine Andy.

I loved it. Laughed and cried as I suspect many others did. Loved the contributions from Willie and Jamie. The dogs were adorable and he does love them. Thought Kim was delightful. Thoroughly enjoyed it all and do hope that people who didn't really know him now have a different idea of what kind of young man he is.

Just finished watching this - utterly captivating and how brilliant it was to see that side of Andy on show for everyone to take notice of.
Jeannie - you're so right, that was such an emotional moment, especially with the way Andy was with Rusty, and how sensitively Sue Barker handled the interview.
I was also very struck by Jamie's comments about Dunblane and the impact Andy's achievements have had on the town.
Very very good!
I found this very moving, a lovely portrayal of Andy. I agree that Sue shouldn't have gone on about Dunblane to Andy, he was obviously very upset about it and although it is such an upsetting topic, Andy's reaction to it was so heartfelt and lovely to see him care as a genuine, emotional and decent person that he is. I loved the contributions from Rafa, his dad and Kevin Spacey amongst all the others!
An enjoyable watch (in the most) :) Perfect for the eve of Wimbledon.
Bring on the Championships!

I actually thought the Dunblane bit was handled very sensitively. Sue didn't push it - she introduced the whole thing with 'you may not want to talk about it but...' and left it up to Andy how much he chose to share. Twice she gave him a 'get-out' chance if he didn't want to continue the conversation, but he chose to carry on. Clearly talking about it was upsetting for him, but it looked to me like Andy was ok with letting people seeing that side of himself. If he hadn't been comfortable with it being shown, it wouldn't have been shown.

Found a way of watching it outside the UK.
My overwhelming feeling is one of pride and just perhaps this might make a lot more people reconsider their attitudes towards him.
Whatever we may have already known from a factual point of view, this was very new territory in seeing Andy interviewed in such an intimate setting and actually seeing his response to such personal questions such as the one about the shooting. I agree wholeheartedly with KnightOwl. Sue handled it sensitively and Andy was given a get out. The fact that he himself handled it so graciously and courageously and emotionally was such a credit to him and showed him to be such a gentle, caring soul that it would almost have been a crime in itself to cut that bit out. I think a lot of people will again have been endeared to him.

Agreed. I think this is important to have been shown as was part of his life and has not really been spoken about ever in the media with regard to him. For me it shows how strong a person (and his family) he is. Was extremely emotional though, I was streaming.
Loved the documentary, really enjoyed it. Yes us fans knew most of it already but was great to bring it to the public - particularly us open stuff as a lot of people in the UK were in the dark due to sky. Also liked the input from Tim Henman and Rafa
One complaint - needed an earlier slot! Please repeat!
I haven't seen it yet - a bit late for me on a work night so I have it all to come and judging by the comments on here it will be a treat worth waiting for :)
Compelling viewing, though I noticed some parts of the trailers were edited out due to the addition of the Queen's charity match at the end - it would be great to see the un-edited version!
Now that I've finally dried my tears, I can manage to post!
I really enjoyed the programme, ok it didn't really tell those of us who have followed him since junior days anything we didn't already know, but I think it was a sensitive portrayal of a sensitive, thoughtful man who happens to be an outstanding athlete. Hopefully it will have won over a few more detractors, but if not then I am not losing any sleep over them.
Why do they have to keep showing the Wimbledon speech? It still destroys me, even a year on. And I defy anyone not to have shed a tear when Andy, Jamie and Judy were speaking about the shootings. Loved the footage with Jez, Danni and Andy Ireland though. And I am so envious of Kim's hair - out walking dogs on a damp drizzly day and she still looked stunning (my hair frizzes up at the slightest bit of moisture). Loved Maggie and Rusty's co-starring roles :)
I recorded it so I am sure I will be going back to it on a miserable winter's day in the off-season when I have Andy withdrawal.

It was a lovely hour and I have it recorded so that I can sit and watch it again without tears and emotions - Oh Boy it was a bit like watching a match. I was so scared that something would be said that gave the wrong impression
I didn't think the Dunblane bit should have gone in really - he was obviously uncomfortable. They keep showing the tears at Wimbledon and the emotions about Ross - fair enough but I don't want some of those rogue reporters to start labelling him a crybabe - it doesn 't take much to give them a new stick to beat him with. Jamie refuses point blank to talk about it and I think perhaps they should have left it there.
Other than that he came over very well and - as has been said - he let them see what he was prepared to allow. I would have loved to see a bit more of his house but obviously that is his private domain and he wasn't sharing it.
Wedidn't learn too much but I so very much hope that he has opened up a few hearts for him
I was so tired yesterday that I couldn't stay up to watch. Hope I might have time to watch later - looking forward to it so much!
thoroughly enjoyed it, although did cry in parts. Yes, did know a lot of it but it was great to have an hour of Andy's life.

Ooh I found it just now on YouTube. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GN416vgWaG0) :yahoo:
On the whole I thought it was a good programme. I did have one misgiving, however - it seemed to me that because crying at Wimbledon last year had apparently made him more popular with the public, the producers decided that the best thing would to make him cry as much as possible in the prog in order to get even more sympathy!

I don't think that was their aim. The crying was in there since in the interview he cried because that showed who he is, his personality off the court regarding the dunblane shootings.

Great documentary! Just bewildered it takes him to do this for certain people to realise he is a nice guy. This guy will go on to win multiple slams so the haters can keep on hating! The millions of fans, and history, will always view you in a great light.

Andy,
I really do hope that you get the chance to read this, I watched your fantastic win last sunday at Wimbledon and also this excellent programme, and I am so pleased I watched a re-run as I really got a feel what sort of a person and sportsman you really are. I owe you a massive apology for being one of those over patriotic Englishman who got very upset about the remarks you made about the English football team, and after watching the programme it has made me realise what a total small minded idiot I was in judging you, just based on the press jumping on your light heated banter with Tim Henman. You are credit to Scotland and I am proud to say that I now a 100% Murray fan and always will be, I play Table Tennis myself and your passion, hard work ethic and will to win has totally inspired me to try and get better and play in more Vets Tournaments (I am 57).
With regards to you showing your emotion, please d'ont stop it's ok to cry sometimes, it shows that you care and that you are human and thats why the public love you so much so please d'ont change.
And lastly the biggest compliment I can give is that performance ranks for me up there with England winning the world cup in 1966 if not more so. You are legand and a hero and you deserve all the credit and plaudits that you get, good luck for all your future tournaments, I will be following your progress with pride closely.
