I thought that too tbh. Vashy has more variety and doesn't rely on his serve even tho' he has a great serve too.

Nice interview on Cdn tv with Milos. He's pretty happy to be the first player born in the 90s to enter the top 10.

I agree. He's not arrogant at all. He loves his country and is a great ambassador for Canada - no matter what others say. I loved how the crowd gave him a standing ovation during the warm-up - I've never seen that happen to anyone else, even Federer. And then the crowd gave Rafa a standing o' too.

Rafa just gave a wonderful interview on CBC's Lindt Desk. Such a class act. They gave him a fake trophy with candies attached so he could bite it properly. He said coming back after 7 months out didn't make him a better player physically but it gave him extra motivation. He seems so excited at his success but also so surprised. Humility personified. Love him.

ETA - watching the presentation ceremony now. Astonished that Raonic doesn't speak very good French (I guess I was mistaken in thinking that all Canucks are bilingual).

According to his profile on the ATP site, Raonic speaks Serbian and English.
As they were saying on the TV, the experience probably will be a good learning curve for him and Ljubicic his new coach to use.
