Shame for Cameron but he played extremely well against an inform player who seems to have a game that suits all surfaces. He had just 2 poor service games that allowed the Italian to break and that's all it took.

Ah, poor Cam, understandably the unrelenting pressure got to him when he was broken in the decider. Really great effort to reach the final though and did better against Berrettini than most this week. Congrats to Matteo, can't say I love his game but he seems like a sweet guy. :trophy::clap:

In R2 Cameron Norrie will play Alex Bolt of Australia, currently ranked #149.
Bolt received a main draw WC into Wimbledon as a result of winning the Nottingham Challenger event earlier in June 2021. In R1 he beat higher ranked Serbian player Krajinovic.

The H2H is 0-0 (https://www.atptour.com/en/players/atp-head-2-head/cameron-norrie-vs-alex-bolt/N771/BI81) on the main ATP Tour but Norrie beat Bolt in 2015 at the Surbiton Challenger in QR2 by 7'5, 4'6, 6'4.
Both have had plenty of matches to play themselves in on the grass although Norrie has played higher level events and it probably favourite - but who knows!
