Hurkacz is left 9th in the race, effectively 8th with Nadal out for the season. The current top 5 are mathematically qualified for the finals and Berrettini will surely make it as well.

That leaves Ruud and Hurkacz as currently the two to chase and Cam would actually be next in line in 10th ( effectively 9th ), and not that far behind them, if he was to go and win the IW title. Even if he loses his SF he will have at least got a bit closer with the Paris Masters in particular still to come

Looks like Rafa will drop out of the top 8 naturally over the next few weeks anyway.

As of this morning, Cam is 160 points behind Hurkacz in effective 8th place, and 220 points behind Ruud in 7th place. Cam is 200 points ahead of Sinner in effective 10th place.
