Now I am

I know that the LTA say that R or S is represented as a block of seats but how come when you go to the French Ticket Master
site and click on available seats, the seats each side of the black line down the middle of each block are both seat 1 ?
Also our tickets arrived today and on Saturday we're in F 4 seat 17 and 18.
And your confused???

https://www.ticketmaster.fr/fr/manifestation/coupe-davis-par-bnp-paribas-billet/idmanif/397553#

Click on the blue bar across the arena pic and select your seats.
There are some if you select Saturday at the top

The shot below shows the Green ticked seat as No.1 and the black box reps where we will be F-4 seats 17 and 18.

I think what we think is G is actually half of G and half of F

Drunken binge and Brewery are the words that come to mind.

So will the Sterling Barmy army etc all be at the back?
Really clever ploy by France if they are...

^ That makes sense - I am F 3 seat 20 which would be in that block labelled G.

I was wondering what the greyed out bits in R and Q were - could they be SBA and French supporters group?

You must have got in and out just before us.
Can you remember what time you completed your purchase? It's on your email..

It looks like 10.06 was the time and there is a number 148 at the seats to be allocated which I thought might be my place in the order of booking.

Not that impressed with our Saturday seats in particular - row 2, escalier F (Sunday better, rows 5&6) - the Saturday seats are the furthest back from the action that you can possibly be & still be in a cat 1 seat (assuming the back row would be cat 2 seats) and IF tickets were allocated on an order of purchase basis then surely folk who bought at the subsequent release of tickets should have worse seats than me if I bought mine at the initial sale. As I'm at the back I don't see how they could possibly have worse seats???!!!
Would be interested to know the seat allocation system Ticket Factory used!

Judging by rows mentioned on here, I reckon the fan groups are in the highest numbered rows, 17 down

So it's looking like either the LTA knew and didn't tell UK Ticket master, or.
Ticket master didn't care or bother to sort it, because our worst tickets were timed at 10.03 (Row 3)
Best timed at 10.06 (Row 7)

:lightbulb: Ah! I think I've got it! So I am G, Row 3, seat 1, so that would mean, going by your Saturday seats jagmad, I would be sitting a row behind you and a little to your left? However, that is my Sunday seat!

exislander, my time was 10.05 and I have no's 47 & 48 at the seats to be allocated, which I thought might have been my seat numbers! (I bought 2 tix). How wrong I was!

It's quite a small arena so I reckon we will all be fine!

The only problem is that when I've checked other sections the black lines that have a 1 either side on some sections are one seat out.
Some times the line is between 1 and 2 and others 1 and 17 and others 17 and 18, so god knows.
Who ever they employed to sort out the seating plan must have had to much cheese and wine.:wino:
We'll probably wind up sitting in the loos, hope they don't charge.;)

Yes, I noticed that too so got totally confused trying to work out where seat 20 was in row 3!

Which section G?

If so you are one row behind and two seats closer to the middle than the black bit on the shot I posted earlier (top of page 26)

Well, yes, probably, in the block that looks like G but is really F as on my ticket?

Yeah ours says F but LTA call it G

Yeah think 1-10 would be F & 11 onwards is G. We are G.
The French have tons of tickets for sale! Looks like they've given us some more to sell as ticket factory has them available again. I queried the seating with ticket factory yesterday but was told they were allocated in order of purchase & that no alternatives were available!:confused:

I saw tickets were available for every day. Perhaps now some of the big French names aren't playing people don't want to go.

Given the small arena, it's certainly not the sell out we all anticipated .... but yes, top name absentees have undoubtedly made a difference
