SHANGHAI 2011, R3: Andy v Stan Wawrinka. Thursday 13th October - NB 8.30am UK,now likely 9.30

Shame Andy couldn't have played his match today to get some court practice under his belt - but he's through to R3 in Shanghai without any exertion and that could be a huge help if he reaches the latter stages of this event.

So, his first match will be a R3 encounter with Stan the Man against whom Andy has a 5-4 H2H (http://www.atpworldtour.com/Players/Head-To-Head.aspx?pId=MC10&oId=W367).
Stan beat Andy last at the USO 2010 in the R32 and he won their very first match at a Davis Cup World Group play-off tie on clay in Switzerland in 2005.
He took Andy to an epic 5-setter at Wimbledon 2009 so Andy knows what he's up against!!!

These 2 are good friends off the tennis court; it'll be interesting to see if Andy can continue with the ruthless style of matchplay he's shown over the last 2 weeks in Bangkok and Tokyo.

The match is scheduled for Thursday 13th October: 3.30pm Shanghai - 8.30am UK time

Murray obviously a better player, but a few misjudgements have cost him, and Wawrinka is fighting pretty well. Loss of focus for Andy in the second set, but he seems to have regained his momentum and looks to be trying to win asap.
