View Full Version : Health and Ailments thread
I read, today, everyone who are aged 50 and over and who have a weak immune system will be eligible to have a shingles vaccine in September. I'll be talking to the receptionist at my doctor's surgery tomorrow about it.
I talked to the receptionist about the shingles vaccine and she told me, if I'm eligible, they'll let me know. So, I'll ask the nurse from the hospital on the 2nd of next month about it.
I had a blood test, this morning. The hospital nurse then phoned this afternoon. She told me, it was good news as I'd passed with flying colours. I asked her about the shingles vaccine and she told me, I'm eligible but only for the dead one. May's scan result had shown the cancer was still stable. Because of this, this month's scan was cancelled. So, the next one will be in November.
Just read everyone aged 65 and over and everyone with health problems will be having another Covid vaccine this autumn. I remember, last year, I had one vaccine and had to go back two weeks later for the other vaccine.
