RR4 is match 4 and RR5 is match 5 - and the threads are up as soon as the first RR matches in each group are played so that there's over a day to do them. It is more difficult with so many to keep track of but I let the mouse hover over the button on the left of the thread to see if I've already made a post.

I don't understand how I've missed some FTM/FTD? I've checked each day that I've done all that are up. Although I was confused yesterday to see RR4 and RR5 when there are only 3 RR rounds. :confused:

Just put your predictions in the relevant thread.

For the team version of the competition then people tend to go into teams at the start of the year. Not sure if there are any team shuffles this year or not, or if everyone is staying in the same teams as last year. Keep a look out on the team FTM threads.

We only do FTD for Jamie and he's in Acapulco.
When Andy plays doubles we only do round by round until he is knocked out or wins.

I'm with Helen. I'd rather not have a FTM if Andy is not playing regardless of what tournament it is. However as the rules require it, I guess we need to do it. Maybe the rules could be reviewed after this tournament.

I think we should do the same as last time at Roland Garros in 2013, and choose the player that becomes the seed that Andy was. So, I would say Federer as he will effectively be #2. Although Cilic is taking his place in the draw. We are then being consistent in the method of replacement.

There Shanghai Masters on 8th October.
Then there Paris Masters on 30th October.
Finally there World Tour Finals on 12th November.

So there 3 FTM tournament if Andy is not playing rest of season. Wait see what happen to Andy.

It might be worth opening up that discussion again if it becomes relevant. I know that I wasn't that fussed about following Kyle at the start of the year, but he's now a consistent top 20 player that we've been following so I am a lot more interested in his progress.

I think that after all these years I am getting stale. I originally joined up, rather than lurking, in order to enter FTM. Must be 11 or 12 years ago. I've always been really keen on doing all the comps but lately I feel that I can't be bothered. This week I completely missed doing FTD. It was posted after I went to bed on Sunday night, and by the time I looked on the Monday I'd already missed the deadline. So I didn't bother all week. I don't know whether it's because Andy hasn't been playing much or whether it's just that I've been doing it for too long. Anyway, I'm not really interested in doing it for WTF.

Now that Andy announce retirement any time now until Wimbledon. I am wondering about FTM. Do we stop immediately Andy retire or do whole final year (all Andy match until retirement and only Grand Slam and World Tour Finals - like last year)?

FTD will continue as normal as long Jamie still playing and forum still here.

Follow Edmund (or any other top ranked Britain player might pop up) in all Masters and Grand Slams and also World Tour Finals (after Andy retire).

I will do that. For now just follow Andy as long as possible continue normal FTM ways.

Follow singles (Edmund assuming he play) and doubles for Andy round by round. If they lose then follow their opponent to final.

I know. Usually I just do FTM for slams and masters (top rank British player if Andy not playing) and Rome is master. If Andy play then will FTM any tournament he play. Rome just happen too soon after Us Open so I missed it.

First FTM for 2021 will be Australian Open and follow whoever is British ranked no. 1 (I haven't checked who yet). It seems Andy not playing until February 15th at earliest. That overlap 2nd week of Aussie Open. Assuming if he still plays will do FTM for that same time.

Then it be Masters and Grand Slam (maybe add Queens too since it very short grass season) only if Andy is not playing and will FTM any tournament Andy is in and playing. Pretty much same as 2020. Reduced FTM.

First challenger Andy playing in, not possible do FTM since I can’t find OOP easily or draw easily (found that eventually) but still no OOP. Make it too difficult set up FTM matches. ATP website don’t even show it on calendar and ATP app not showing that tournament either at moment.

Speedy, the challenger draws and schedules are all on the ATP website. Difficult to find if you don't know where to look.

If you go onto the ATP website, then click on tournaments then the 6th option down is the ATP challenger tournaments. If you click on that you will get them all. They just show one and you can click on a series of dashes to get the other tournaments just like on the main ATP page.

Challenger level events can be somewhat 'fluid' because eligible players often put their names down on more than one Entry List and then withdraw once their schedules/activity become more clear and it depends how they're doing in the Challenger prior as to where they want to end up next!!! (hope that makes sense). Also, Covid restrictions and border controls are making some difficulties - so the processes are even slower!!!

I have been doing FTM since 2007. It been 15 years now. 2022 will be 16th year and hopefully Andy be playing more compare 2021 year so decided to do prize anniversary for 15 years in 2022 instead of 2021. So FTM will be all Grand Slams and all Masters (even Andy is not playing in them for whatever reason) and any other tournaments Andy will play in.

I will post towel to 1st place FTM 2022 winner at end of 2022 season.

Sorry not yet take over for Rome FTM and FTD. I end up catching some kind of bug on flight home end up feeling quite sick, unable eat anything, no energy and exhausted. Not best ending for my great holiday but at least it was flight home not at holiday. Will sort out scoring this weekend for Madrid and take over Rome FTM and FTD.
